The Federal Executive Council ( FEC) on November 27, greenlit the 2024 appropriation bill totalling N27.5 trillion.
This is an increase from the N26.01tn earlier considered by the council.
According to Honourable Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Mr. Abubakar Bagudu, the details of the bill would be presented by President Bola Tinubu when presenting the budget to the National Assembly next week.
Notably, the medium-term expenditure framework (MTEF) underwent adjustments, featuring an exchange rate of N750 to a dollar and a crude oil benchmark of $77 to enhance revenue.
